DECXCEPTION by Odeeni Illusion
The revelation has been there all along.
DECXCEPTION is a powerful, visual card effect built around a simple idea: the audience sees everything from the very beginning, yet the final revelation is sitting right under their noses.
At the start of the performance, a boxed Bicycle deck is openly displayed on an innocent-looking card stand. The cards are removed and shown, and a spectator is invited to call STOP as the performer riffles through the deck.
A card is selected and remembered before being fairly lost back into the pack.
With a snap of the fingers, the performer slowly spreads through the cards.
The selected card has completely vanished.
No sign of it anywhere.
Attention is then drawn back to the card stand that has been sitting in full view throughout the performance.
The performer picks up the stand and, piece by piece, something extraordinary begins to happen.
What appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary stand transforms into an unmistakable representation of the spectator's selected card.
The revelation has literally been there from the very beginning.
DECXCEPTION has been designed to create a strong visual climax without complicated sleight of hand. The method is practical, the reset takes only seconds, and the effect can be performed again and again.
The specially prepared Bicycle deck and custom DECXCEPTION stand are supplied, along with full instructions to teach you everything you need to perform the effect.
Perfect for close-up magic, table hopping, parlour performances, magic clubs and professional shows.
A card is chosen.
A card vanishes.
Then the impossible happens.
DECXCEPTION — The revelation has been there all along.
