Devil's Coin Bank

The Magician borrows a quarter, and places it inside a small bank.  Shaking the bank back and forth, it is obvious to the spectators that the coin is inside.  On the Magician's command, however, the rattling stops abruptly. 

The coin has vanished from the bank, which can be handed to the spectators for examination.  Or, make the coin penetrate the bottom of the bank!  No sleight of hand is required to perform this effect.
